Budapest

View Budapest July 2011 in a larger map

Friday 22nd July 2011 will see me leaving the UK and heading to Budapest on the motorbike. In fact I may have already left. This page will list the latest blog posts, show the latest photos and let you follow along with my latest tweets – it’s all very exciting. You can take a look at my proposed route VS the actual route (perhaps this will be the first trip where my planned route matches what I actually do) on the right.

You will be able to see the latest photographs on my flickr account over here. You can follow my tweets over on my twitter account where I’ll be updating via SMS on the road each day – as well as posting longer form right here.

Travellers Prayer – the end to the Budapest story

When I went to Budapest I spent an extra day ‘bunged up’ in the hotel. When I was feeling better I took a walk across the road to the famous cave church. I love visiting places like this – and when I was still feeling under the weather the quiet time and reflection really helped. … Continue reading »
